RENAMING AND ADJUSTMENT OF AIRCRAFT STANDS, NAMING OF NEW TAXILANE AT DONG HOI AIRPORT (VVDH)

1 — INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP: AD.

This AIRAC AIP Supplement aims at notifying the contents at Dong Hoi Airport (VVDH) as follows:

Renaming and adjustment of aircraft stands;
Aircraft stand coordinates;
Operational capability of aircraft stands;
Naming of new taxilane;
Aircraft operational procedures.

2 — DETAILS

2.1 Renaming and adjustment of aircraft stands

Currently, Dong Hoi Airport has 4 existing aircraft stands including: 1, 2, 4 and 4A. After the adjustment, there will be 8 new aircraft stands as follows: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Note: Aircraft stand 3 was withdrawn and converted to taxilane V on 15 AUG 2024. NOTAM C0382/25 has been published to notifity about this content.
8 new aircraft stands are numbered from 1 to 8, from North West to South East, in which stands 1, 2, 3 are self-manoeuvring; stands 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 are not self-manoeuvring.

2.3 Operational capability of aircraft stands

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8	Operate aicraft up to A321 with wingspan up to but not including 36 m and equivalent. Note: + Do not operate aircraft in/out simultaneously at 2 adjacent stands. + Stands 4, 5 and 6 are temporarily closed from 2300 on 4/9/2025 until 1659 on 31/12/2026 due to the impact of the construction of Terminal 2 project.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Operate aicraft up to A321 with wingspan up to but not including 36 m and equivalent.

Note:

+ Do not operate aircraft in/out simultaneously at 2 adjacent stands.

+ Stands 4, 5 and 6 are temporarily closed from 2300 on 4/9/2025 until 1659 on 31/12/2026 due to the impact of the construction of Terminal 2 project.

2.4 Naming of new taxilane: V1 and V2

Taxilane V1: From the end of TWY E2 to aircraft stand 2.
Taxilane V2: From the end of TWY E2 to aircraft stands 4, 5, 6.

2.5 Aircraft operational procedures

For arrival aircraft.
1. Stands 1, 2: RWY 11/29 → TWY E2 → taxilane V1 → stand
2. Stand 3: RWY 11/29 → TWY E2 → stand.
3. Stands 7, 8: RWY 11/29 → TWY E2 → turn left into taxilane V2 → stand.
For departure aircraft
1. Stands 1, 2, 3: Aircraft from stand → turn left → self-taxi out to taxilane V1 → TWY E2 → RWY for departure.
2. Stands 7, 8: Aircraft from stands 7, 8 are towed to taxilane V2, the nose of the aircraft facing North West → aircraft self-taxi into TWY E2 → RWY for departure.
